I first tasted this wine upon release in 2020, it did not show well had a good nose and finish but seemed to lack mid palette flavor and depth. tasted again in November 2022 and was much better, at first upon opening there was still to much presence of wood flavor in the wine, but that fading away after about 20 minutes in the glass and drank much better. The mid palette has developed in this wine and drinks well, i think it could stand another couple years in the bottle. There is baked plum, baked briar fruit, pie spice followed by bittersweet chocolate and tobacco. A very good effort.
