Other Notes
A cool November to January period resulted in robust dormancy and chill hours. February and March were very warm and brought an unusually early budbreak (March 29th), followed by cooler weather and slow progression, with the first bloom on June 1st. Clouds and heavy downpours of 2-3 inches during August, followed by un-reasonably cool temperatures in September and October, limited ripening and tannin development in red varieties.
